HElP On Suburban

I got hold of a 3/4-1 ton 1975 Chevy Suburban Frame (No Body)I Want to ReBuild But I Have a few Questions that I'm haveing a bit of a time with

I know the rear axle is a 14 bolt and I read somewhere they used both the 10 bolt and the Dana 44 10 bolt how do you tell the difference?

Also Anyone know what size backspaceing I would need to put 15 Inch rims on the truck ( Max availible)I'm planning on running 35x12.5 15's

Oh if anyone would know the Gear Ratios in the axles would be helpfull as well
Thanx in advance

<font face="Times New Roman">
<font color=green>If it is stock it will have a 44 for sure in '75. But, you never know what's been swapped in, so, if the cover is perfectly round, it's a 10 bolt. If it's not perfectly round but still has 10 bolts on it, it should be a 44.

Re: HElP On Suburban

Factory 15X8 wheels with 3 1/2" backspacing work great for 12.50" tires.

Re: HElP On Suburban

Ok I think the stock rims are 16 Inch but would like to put 15's on the truck and keep the tires tucked under the fenders as tight as i can without hitting the frame or the tie rods ends

I did some checking and I definately have a Dana 44 under the frount
