Small Block or Big Block???

is a 6.2 litre a Big Block or a Small Block, i was just wondering, ive been told by some people it was small and by others that it was big. i know it comes out to 379 Cubic Inches or something like that, but a guy i know told me there was a 366 big block or something like that

really, its neither, one could consider it big block due to girth, but the smallblock/bigblock names are only really used on gas engines. smallblock 265, 267, 283, 302, 305, 307, 350, 400. big blocks-348, 366, 396, 409, 427, 454, 8.1(495), 502. that it. for chevys anyway.

It's a diesel, don't worry about it. Doesn't use either block.
