Re: MAXXIS Buckshot Mudder

Here is my initial report on them a while back <a target="_blank" href=;Board=offroadchevstandar d&amp;Number=702154&amp;Search=true&amp;Forum=offr oadchevstandard&amp;Words=maxxis&amp;Match=Entire% 20Phrase&amp;Searchpage=0&amp;Limit=25&amp;Old=all posts&amp;Main=702154>;Board=offroadchevstandar d&amp;Number=702154&amp;Search=true&amp;Forum=offr oadchevstandard&amp;Words=maxxis&amp;Match=Entire% 20Phrase&amp;Searchpage=0&amp;Limit=25&amp;Old=all posts&amp;Main=702154</a>

Now that I've had them for a while I'm still glad I got them. I drive 60 miles a day on the street and on some gravel, and I worry about the mud lugs wearing down. So far there is no need to worry about wear though - I don't see much at all and it's all even and normal. Since I've had them I've gone offroad lots of times and they always perform well and seem to resist tearing well. As far as wet street traction they seem to do OK, but I have 4wal and don't know how they'd do if the fronts locked up. My only gripe so far is that they throw lots of rocks into the bottom of the truck and some out the back, but that's normal for mud tires and I expected it so I can't really be too pissed.

Re: MAXXIS Buckshot Mudder

I run 315/75 R16 buckshot mudders on my truck with 16x10 wheels. I love them. With those wheels they actually measure 34.1" tall and 12.6" wide. I have had them since march and they still look good. I had to get one replaced a couple weeks ago but that was cause I hit some trash 4Xing and just the sidewall. I can keep up with my buddy w/ 38" swampers ok too for the most part unless he shifts his doubler in to low/ low. Basically in other words I like mine . The only bad thing is 35" is the biggest they come.
