Questions about 1997 Yukon 1500 SLT 4X4

Im looking at the above truck and need to know more about it. Anything that you guys can tell me would be great. I need to know the good and the bad. We are looking to have this truck tow my Jeep Cj (4200 lbs.) Does this truck have a trans cooler in her?

This is the SLT 4x4 version loaded to the gills with the 350 and OD trans. and full leather. She looks great and is a beauty
It has 66K and the asking $is 17.9K. Were not ging to give him that but need to knowe from the collective what a fair price would be. I have owned Fords for years so this is a new catagory.

As always, thanks for your help

Wrong forum. Ask this question on the GM Standard IFS Trucks & SUV's forum. This is the forum for GM fullsizes with solid front axles, that Yukon has IFS.

tranny is weak as well as the rear axle. plus, swb vehicles like blazers/broncos arent the most stable tow vehicles either. in my opinion, a 3/4 ton suburban would be ideal because of it's long wheelbase, hd rear axle, and hd tranny. for the loot you're laying out, you can easily get a vortec 350 3/4 ton burb that would be an awesome tow rig for a jeep.
