Why would you do this project the half-assed way? There are so many downsides to flex pipe I can't even begin to list all of them, but some of the downsides are they're more restrictive due to more turbulent flow caused by the ribs rather than smooth pipe... Another downside is they will end up lasting 6 months at best...

Go buy some pre-bent elbows and a few clamps and do it so it'll at least last a little bit and retain a bit of performance...

Why don't you take it to a shop? The labor shouldn't be over a hundred bucks, it won't rust out in 6 months, and you know it will be done right. Flexpipe is junk. If you like headaches and replacing exhaust every couple of months then go for it.

Yeah, I bought 90 degree j-bends from Hooker and fabbed my mods from manifolds to cats with butt welds. Cost under 20 bucks per bend and looks purdy.

nay, im good, i just did it tonight, it sounds so much better, no lisp to the exaust it is just a deep throaty tone, and at about 2000rpm it sounds real nice . dosnt really matter anyway, its stainless steel, should last a while, i like it, and thats all i care about, and it was all done with stuff i had laying around the garage, didnt have to goto the store once . and it still goes as fast as it did when i had no pipe on there, it just sounds better now.
