Lifted

Well I put the 4" lift on my 87 this weekend. Looks great. Still looks a little funny with the 32x11.50's on it, but I'm working on getting the 33x12.50's on it. Didn't have any problems with it untill I got to the steering arm. Had to beat the dang thing off. The lift was on in about 5 hours not to bad, I didn't think for a novice, and considering the heat down here in the south. I didn't drop my T-case on mine. I was going to put the lift on first and then see if I had any vibration. Luckly I didn't. My buddy that helped me has an 85 with a 2.5" and an add a leaf which sit's just about as high as mine. Anyhow, he did have a vibration in his. So we pulled it in the shop and did the T-case drop. It took all the vibration out of his truck. It's really a good cheap trick. Anyway, If I can figure out how to get some pictures on here I'll post some. Thanks for the tips.

Re: Lifted

Well the lift was a superlift. I know that's not everyones favorite but It does ride good. I have not put it to the test yet, but deer hunting season is right around the corner. It will be put to the test then. I have just ordered a new steering stabilizer for it as well. I went with the single instead of the double. The double looks great but I didn't think I would need it with 33's. Plus the money saved is going toward the tires. Like a big dummie I was so excited about getting it on I didn't measure tire to fenderwell before hand so I'm not really sure exactly what I got as far as inch's go. Basic stuff for now.

Re: Lifted

Well I will probably run Super Swampers. But I'm open for suggestions. I would like to get a good tire in a 34x12.50 but I'm not aware of one.
