87 TBI fuel pump replacement?

on the TBI fuel injected 350 engines, the fuel pump is in the gas tank and located under the bed, i have a short bed, now how do you go about replaceing that, it sounds really really hard, and time consumeing, and about how much is the fuel pump, and what would have to be replaced.

Pull the box off the truck and replace it that way.

You'll probably need to buy a new gas tank ring to go around the sending unit. You'll probably ruin it taking it out.

The last time I bought a fuel pump for a TBI vehicle was at least three years ago and it was in the $80 neighborhood.
