Sorry I\'ve been gone, if anyone really missed me.

Hey guys sorry I haven't been around in forever. I've gotten kinda wrapped up in my Cummins Turbo Diesel hobby.

Was planning on having the Chevy ready for a mud bog by Sept., but as soon as I planned that hours at work took a MAJOR DUMP

The Chevy's been outta comission for about a month or so now. Tore it down to find an oil leak, went all the way to the rear main and everything still looked new. Then I didn't have(make) the time to get it back together. Hopefully I'm going to get it back together and possibly running tomorrow.

I love my Cummins, but I miss my V-8. Wished I had it when my D60's wheel bearings took a dump on me 2 weeks ago. Luckily it was at night, called a buddy on the CB he came and help me figure out the problem, g/f's parents drove by and took her to get her car, then tow truck came and carried it to the shop. The shame, the shame of riding on the back of a powerjoke.... but it picked the front tires of that rollback up 6" according to my g/f when he went to pull it back up!

Hey, you were never gone.

Oh wait, I've recently gotten the CTD bug too.

Haha, look, I'm even starting to use some of the lingo.

Andrew go back .... GO BACK!

Just kidding.

Now if I could get to you to drop $35 for TDR we'd be in business.

Eh, maybe after I contaminate my future Mopar with some GM parts. Like the 14FF in the rear. Should have plenty of cash left over.

Unless your only planning on buying a 1500, the 2500's come with a D70 rear axle. DEFINATELY overkill.

well if you think the d70 is overkill, you should read this article about the ford 9":
http://performanceunlimited.com/illu...ons/gears.html

interesting perspective... it appears the ultimate axle is a 9" converted to use 40-spline shafts
