Re: I got my truck!

I drove it about 45 today before the front wheels wobbled at all, then they ripped the steering wheel out of my hands. I can't balance the tires because the weights would hit my calipers, whats that golf ball thing I read once somewhere, how many are needed in each tire? I still need to find shackles too...

Re: I got my truck!

hmmmmmm..........maybe some external weights? Might get ripped off offroading though. There are internal weights, but they are a bit pricier than I think you want to spend on this beast, and your tires are already mounted.

For the rear shackles, go ask on MOO. If my memory serves me correctly, there's a couple guys parting out SFA GM's on there.

<font face="Times New Roman">
<font color=green>A few golf balls in each tire are supposed to help, or 6-8 ounces of BBs. To do it right go to a heavy truck tire shop and buy Equal, the stuff goes in the tire and is supposed to do a great job of balancing the tires.
