Re: 2 and 4 wd th350 trannies...

It's really the length of the output shaft. There are a couple different TH350 output shaft lengths, 4WD, passenger/pickup vehicle short, intermediate, and long. The 4WD version TH350 output shaft was never used in a passenger car vehicle. Sorry

Three different output shafts and cones, 3, 6, 9". Most are 6". I don't remember which length you need for mating to a transfer case, but anyway. So, are you going to have a 4wd Buick or are you going to duct tape the bellhousing to your Chevy?

Re: 2 and 4 wd th350 trannies...

Thanks for the input. The Chevy already has a buick regal tranny in it, divorce mounted t-case, I was gonna just replace the tailshaft with a chevy t-case. No go, I will just get a tranny/t-case from my school.
