Rezzy if these are the waterproof kind I'd buy as many as you can afford.

The resale value will be much more than 6 bucks for interested people.

I'd defintitely buy some off ya, but the shipping and exhange will kill me..

That would be 5.56MM. It is used in the M16/M4. The equivelant of a .223 i do believe.

Uhm, great! I picked up a cross bed toolbox for $30 today, in very decent condition, getting the flatblack treatment with a blue skull and USOR markings. Pics soon. Oh yeah, I also restricted myself to 2 more amo cans, grrrrr.

RJ you can chop that tollbox, down to size, and mount it between your frame rails that would look good

Hey Rezzy the larger ammo cans make great lockable security consoles.

Steelerfan - I was thinking that, but I'll have a LOT of room between the seats and I kind of wanted to put my stereo in there. They are great little wonders of creation though.

Drey - I need that frame space for the gas tank and air tank, the toolbox is actually going to be mounted in usual place, behind the cab on the side rails. OH NO SOME NORMALCY IN RJ's FLATBED WAHHHH!

Re: THANK ALL THE GODS I HAVE FOUND AMMO CANS !

RJ, there's a link on the following thread over on the Suzuki forum for a place that sells trays for those ammo cans. Definately useful stuff.
<a target="_blank" href=http://tellico.off-road.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&amp;Board=offroadsuzuki&amp;Numb er=805953&amp;page=&amp;view=&amp;sb=&amp;o=&amp;v c=1>http://tellico.off-road.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&amp;Board=offroadsuzuki&amp;Numb er=805953&amp;page=&amp;view=&amp;sb=&amp;o=&amp;v c=1</a>

desertrat67, yeah, the 5.56mm weister round the M16's fire is the same as the .223 Remington round. You know, the famous varmint round. I'll take my AK-47 or an M14 any day thank you very much.

Try this site...

www.govliquidation.com They are now the people who get rid of at least the military's old stuff. There are almost always large lots of various ammo cans.
