81 Blazer 2wd... convert to 4wd?

Should I weld on leaf perches for a straight axle? Or is there a cheaper option with IFS? Thanks for any info!

Go with the straight axle IFS sucks, I should know. Besides IFS would be harder and is just not worth it.

you're cheapest option will be buying the frame and running gear from a k5 with a totaled body.

forget about IFS.
