RJ\'s rub\'n off on me

Ok I'm really big into 3 fields of mechanicals

1-Chevy/GMC 4x4's
2-older Chevy muscle cars
3-Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel's

Well a lot of people are running stacks over on the www.Turbodieselregistry.com and I'm plan'n on putting a set of my own in soon, but I didn't want to move my toolbox back like this guy.

So an idea sparked in my head tonight to custom build a combination headache rack/toolbox holder for one of those chest type boxs.

I could still run my stacks where they are on that truck, and not have to move my toolbox back. Just like RJ I'll have sample/rough draft pics up tommorow. LoL

Re: RJ\'s rub\'n off on me

for ****s and gigles i'd dump a couple gallons of water down each stack and when he starts it i'd say "man, that is one mean sounding boat".

in my opinion stacks on a pickup are even more retarded than sidepipes on a ricer.

Re: RJ\'s rub\'n off on me

if i ran stacks they would be the ones that run along the bottom of the cab like nerf bars, so when some dumbazz runs up to my truck to jump on the nerf bars he burns the shiz outta his feet

Re: RJ\'s rub\'n off on me

haha, could be kind of hard on pantlegs though. i kind of like nerf bars. does smittybilt make black frame-mounted nerfbars for the 73-87 longbox generation? i'm too poor right now due to increased tuition, low working hours, and painting right now to buy but it'd be nice to know for the future.

Re: RJ\'s rub\'n off on me

That's what I was afraid of. I've seen a few guys use "universal" ones but I know a couple companies made some that went all the way back to the spring (as to protect the gas tank) and I want those. I know Hooker used to sell nerf bars for these trucks.

Re: RJ\'s rub\'n off on me

Ah man I thought I was going to get another K20 flatbedder on 38's, dammit. No it's just making fun of my excited droning on my project plans.

Well at least you didn't say the obvious jokes.

"RJ's rubbing off on ya? Ewwwww, make him put his pants on and go back home!"

"RJ's rubbing off on ya? Ick, tell him not to pick at his welder light sunburn"

And so on....

Good luck smoking your pipes or whatever!
