A spring Loaded TRAILER HITCH!! Do they make em!

Guys,

I f'ked up. When I had my Old 85GMC 4x4 I sold it with the BUMPER in it. I cannnnnnot find a bumper like this ANYMORE. Its not soo much the bumper I'm looking for. Its the Spring Loaded Trailer HITCH I need.

If you look at my pic. The little part where the trailer ball goes would MOVE in and out when TOWING to prevent a hard JERK when towing. And to prevent another jerk when breaking, it would move in.

Problem is I have no idea what the origins of this box thing are. I have pics for you all to see, I just need to get them scanned. BUt this BUMPER ROCKED, it was a heavy sucker and actually looked good.

The Pic i drew is a top view of course.

DAMN i need to get me AUTO CAD

Also if you look here, you can sort of see the bumper in the bottom pic when the truck is GREEN.

Well this was a custom bumper. The Box was probably a bolt on thing but they fixed so they welded it to the actual bumper. I'm just trying to locate that box.

It also had a big pin so you coulse swing out the hitch or whatever.

On tv I saw a hitch that slides into a standard 2" receiver, and the part that the pin goes through was spring loaded. So the hitch part of the truck was a normal receiver, while the slide in ball part had springs built in, allowed about an inch of movement each way. Thing it was in JC Whitney or something.
