Heckthorn Shocks???

Ive decided im going to get a Rough Country 2 inch lift after i get my truck painted. The article said new shockers were recomended, and mine are trash anyway. I found Heckthorn Shocks for $29.99(if i remember correctly) and then dust boots for 3 bucks a peice. Are these shocks anygood, and do you need dust boots? I do alot of driving on gravel if that matters

Re: Heckthorn Shocks???

I've heard of them, never used them though. A friend has the Rancho RS5000's though, not to bad in my opinion. If I remember correctly they run about $35 a peice. About the dust boots, I'd leave them off due to any type of water, mud or any other type of moisture that can get trapped in there.
