Please help! Body question!

I need a question answered fast please! My friend found me a 86' K-5 Blazer for cheap. I want it for the body, my 80' Blazer body is toast. My question is, will the 86' K-5 body fit on an 80' frame. I have a lot of money invested in the 80' an would like to get it looking good.

Thank you!

<font color=green>Yes, it should fit, the only real problems might be if one is a stick and the other is an auto, otherwise they should swap without a problem.

I agree, I don't think you should have any problems at all with the swap.

Re: Please help! Body question!

I was not sure if the body mounts were in the same place, plus I was sure about the linkage for the automatic tranny. The shifter for the 4x4 is not that much of a worry.
