Yep, I blew up my front D44 after playing a little after getting unstuck the other day. Toor it apart Monday night and broke the spider gears, center pi, center pin retaining pin, and ovalized the center pic holes in teh carrier about 1/2 inch longer. Ya, stole a buddies carrier and inner gears from his old ford D44 and put in there. Haven't test yet but I am on the lookout for a Dana 60. Probably regear one to 4.88 and give to Joe and take his 4.56 D60/14FF then we will both benifit. Just wanted to rant and rave about how sucky light stuff is.
