Re: Silver Lake Weekend, a few pics

It's amazing how small Mount Baldy/Competition Hill/Test Hill has gotten over the last fifteen years. I remember when..

Anyway, it looks like you had a lot of fun. How warm was it?

It's been a couple years since I've been there with my quad. And it doesn't look like I'm going to make it this year because of school.

Did you break anything? I almost always break something when I go. The last time I went I had just got done stripping my frame down to the metal and repainted it and I rebuilt the bottom end of it at the same time. And I lost my kickstarter somewhere on the dunes. It made for a short trip because I got tired of having to pull start it/park it on a hill every time I wanted to stop. It was an expensive trip too because when I got home and ordered the part and found out that it cost what a hotel room does for a night.

Re: Silver Lake Weekend, a few pics

sorry, the picture was too big, ill try again....
i didn't brake anything cause i didn't take anything.... but i had a good time.... one guy blew up his t-case drag racing, another blew up his front end, spider gears, anyother's engine liked to leak oil, ford superduty has a nice power steering cooler that is unprotected that gets destroyed if ran into a sand ledge... but it was fun. hotel was buy one night get one free....

<font color=green>Holy crap that's a big f-ing truck... The step in height must be like 4 feet or more! Probably would tip over if you looked at it sideways...
