Uh OHH ! was radiator goo

Well fellas and fellettes, it ain't water pump lubricant in the aspect and purposes of water pumps. i removed the lower hose to replace it, preventative medicine, and lordy the oil and junk that came out. after the water evaporated, it was pure black oil, and lot's of it. i do believe i have something cracked, now i know why the 'ol boy sold it to me for such a good price. any suggestions ?

Yank it and put in a 502. Nothing beats a big block for power in the mud specially not big block with 500+ hp out of the box...

Depends on money(as usual)... pull the intake and look for a crack in the lifter galley(Good place to crack when extra hot) then pull the heads. I would probably look for a long block or a crate motor at this point.

Cheapy: Look in the local paper or pennysaver.. find a car or motor that you can throw in to get it around town (sould be able to find something for 200.00) Then save the pennys for a crate motor.
