Short backround:

We have a few plans for this, which may or may not materialize. We plan on entering this particular Bronco

with a 351w/250 nitrous shot/T5 into the tough truck and/or burnout competition. Also, this Mazda may also be entered:

(It's shown there at the Woodward Dream Cruise).

My friends and I are boardering on clinically it promises to be a good time. Please check my website if you're confused.

Re: Indy 4x4 Jamboree???

I will be there with bells on. Went to the one in Lima, OH this summer and it was great (although it was raining most of friday and saturday). What is the deal with the silver lake trip? I live like an hour away from there (in fact I will be there for Labor day this weekend).

Re: Indy 4x4 Jamboree???

Well...most of us can't plan that far in advance. But when I know more I'll pass on the info. It's gonna be one hell of a time, there are 5 of us going at the moment...and the number keeps growing.

Re: Indy 4x4 Jamboree???

Does anyone know if it is better to camp or get a hotel for this event?Where is a good place to stay at?Is the fairgrounds in a descent neighborhood or is it like Mich. state fairgrounds which is in the hood.

If you want a hotel, better book it quick if you don't want to be staying an hour or more from the fairgrounds. Neighborhood is decent; not ritzy, but not a ghetto either. I used to go to Indy every year. Haven't been since '94 & am considering driving up just for one day.
