I'm goin tomorrow to look at a 1995 3/4 ton C/K model pickup. If and I am not mistaken those come with 4L80E's, right? How do I tell the difference between the 4L60's and the 4L80's?? I'm almost sure it's an 80, but I want to know how to tell the difference just to know.

Re: 4L80E

The codes will tell...easier way, look at the pan. 4l60e pan is almost square. 4L80E pan looks just like like a turbo 400 pan. Kinda rectangular, with a panhandle. You'll know the difference.
