Re: what happend

yup - in the trailblazers. there was an ad in SI last week. 225hp - supposedly more than all the other SUVs 6cylinders

Re: what happend

I actually test drove a Trailblazer with the new I-6 and it was very peppy. I was thinking the horsepower rating was closer to 275. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Re: what happend

I heard the HP rating at 275 as well. Right along with a front axle that is incorporated into the oil pan. Yikes! glad i got out of that biz. The trailblazers look sweet though.

Re: what happend

the trailblazers have that engine, and it is rated at 275 HP. All the first 2 months(july august) worth of trailblazers were recalled though because the lower A-arms could rip from the frame.

pics of the V30 which is still for sale or possible trade.

Re: what happend

Yeah! That's right, the engine with a halfshaft through the oilpan. Good thing someone else mentioned it because I didn't wanna be labled crazy just because I had some recallection(sp?) of a crazy new engine with a shaft coming out of the oilpan. Hey! Maybe it's GM's attempt to make a manly truck! ahaha Get it? It's a boy. If not that, then their engineers just had to make something more complicated, so that It would have to be worked on by the dealer. Correct me if I'm wrong though. Just my views on the situation.
