pullin to the right

well i seem to have a little problem. my truck pulls to the right when i brake. it pulls when i apply the brake but stops when i let off. i had a my brake man check it out and he said it wasnt the brakes (hes also my dads best friend so he wasnt $hittin me)he thinks there might be sumthin shifting in the front end. does anyone have any idea what it might be? the problem isnt that bad but i dont want it to get worse.

Re: pullin to the right

We used to have a 75 Work truck 2WD and it did that pullin to the side. Drove us nuts. Turns out on the right side someone replaced the line with a smaller one.

Re: pullin to the right

check your wheel bearings for slack and check your tire pressure. i bet it's one of them. check the balljoints while you've got it jacked up too.

JEEP, it's what's for dinner.

Re: pullin to the right

I knew a guy who had this problem and after changing everything possible on his car and aligning it a 2 shops realized that most of the streets around here are slanted to the right to allow for water draining. When he finally found a church parking lot his car went straight when braking. Now this is probably not your problem but i thought it was an interesting sideline.
