you mean to reset the computer?
I wouldnt think youd need to reset it cuase it will gradually learn how to work with the exhaust and may run better oun ce you get some miles on it, but disconecting the batter wouldnt hurt, you will lose your radio and time settings though.

no, you dont need to reset the comp. the only readings it gets are from the sensors after the cat. sure, the gasses will exit the engine easier but that has nothing to do with the computer. the air flow sensor determines how much fuel to inject and the o2 sensors determine how well its being burnt. a new muffler doesnt affect any of it though
