OT - Total War

I don't know if many of you are gamers, but this game is amazing: Shogun Total War. Its partial turn-based, but the battles are incredible. Command 1,000s of troops into battle, flight for Japan's territires, build Castles, DoJo's, etc. Excelent!!! I've put in over 40 hours in the last 3 weeks into that game alone (I don't sleep much!). Makes those cheesy board-based strat games look like nuthing (AOE, C&C, etc...).

Of course I'm also still playing Diablo II... 23rd level Barbarian. Thats an awesome game too!

I'm currently playing Perfect Dark on the N64. Great shooter game, and man, the lead character is a hot chick!

I'm also playing Crimson Skies on my PC.. A great flying game which I was 95% done with until I got a virus and had to format the hard drive. Thereby loosing my saved game and having to start over.

a moment of silence for298's Barb...

.... I'm up to level 25 now. A friend and I have a trade going on. He's giving cool stuff from Act 4 (I'm still in Act 3) so that we can kill Diablo Together. Can you believe he was online with a level 99 Paladin... CRAZZYYY!!!

Go get Shogun, its the best $20 ever spent on a strat game.

Re: OT - Total War

i don;t know what the hell you're talking about, but i know that the dudes with long sticks were called "pikesmen" because the name of those longs sticks are pikes. not a very nice way to be killed i don;t think....think of being a human marshmallow and having a stick run through you. you people need to take some anger management course..shame on you. seriously now. whats the scoop on these games. sounds like a fun way to pass the time at school

Re: OT - Total War

pikemen were a british weapon or something. In Total war you get to buy armies of Ashiguru, Samurai, No-Dachi Samuria, Naginatas, Warrior Monks, Archers, Calvary Archers and Heavy Cavalry. Objective is to take over Japan. The expansion pack introduces the Mongolian and Korean Armies. Its pretty damn cool.

Diablo is kinda like an RPG. Pick a character, gain levels of experience, and kill The Devel ("El DIablo") at the end. adicting. I finally beat Diablo with the help of Sir Fistandilus the Necromancer.
