Electric Fans?

Anyone out there put an electric fan to replace the engine-driven one on there late-model truck? What kind of power increase did it give? How'd the install go?

Thanks!

Matt

Re: Electric Fans?

I've read about guys running the flexalit fans that pickup 15-30 hp...not bad! Plus they really push the air. Better than stock.

Re: Electric Fans?

Do a search for the last two weeks. We just discussed them and there was a link to a web site.

If it don't fit force it, and if all else fails get a bigger hammer!

Re: Electric Fans?

you want a model 250 dual setup from flex-a-lite. Its designed to fit late model chevies and pulls 5200 CFM. Ive been researching the same thing. The 250 costs 379.00, ouch but would be very nice.
