nerf bar idea

Im thinking about making nerf bars out of exhaust tubing, but Im not sure wether or not it will be stron enough.

what do you think.

if you wantthem to work, don't use exhaust tubing. that stuff is thin a paper sompared to what is used on maufactured nerf bars. Go get some steel pipe and make something like the sully built bars Steve has on his blazer.

ya I was thinking that but the exhaust guys could bend up a couple of 90 deg bends for just a few bucks, I wonder if they can bend the thicker pipe just as easy.

Takes more work the thicker the pipe is.

Think about how easily exhaust pipe rusts and bends. Do you want to have people standing on that?
