Re: where to buy a running board?

Why do you want running boards? They're ugly, rob ground clearance and get ripped off rather easily, which usually ends up in body damage, and are over priced for what they do. Have you thought of some frame mounted nerf bars? Very popular, stainless steel or powdercoated black, either goes with most paint jobs, and the powdercoat can be painted to match your vehicle. Frame mounted means strength, and while they won't hold up the weight of the vehcile, they will hold up any passenger you want to put on them and since they stick out a bit they make good shopping cart deflectors. You can pick them up for anywhere from the low $100's to $250 depending on how fancy and what options you want with them.

I'm in San Diego, where are you? I can recommend a few places down here to see and to avoid, but you can probably get better prices off the internet and through mail order.

Just looking for one? I have AJMs m,antality too, I took mine off, They use grade 2 bolts, and are mounted to the body - how silly. If by chance they fit, I'll sell you mine for real cheap - but they came off my 2-door '97 Tahoe.
