Cruise Control?

Guys/Gals, I need some help.

1980 K5 with 350. Came with cruise control from the factory. Doesn't work. Any ideas on how to fix?

Re: Cruise Control?

on an 80 it should be a vacuum system. check for vacuum leaks or possibly a bad switch. did it go out all at once or slowly?

Check the vacuum lines to it. Bust out a shop manual and a DVOM (digital volt/ohm meter) and start probing wires to find out what the deal is. The manual will tell you what wires to look at... Don't forget to check the switch, although it's probably a major pain to do that...
