what\'s it worth

I have an 87' Chevy Silverado.
305 TBI, 700R4, 32" BFG All Terrains.
It has a little body rust but other than that it is a very fine truck. I have been thinking about selling it for a newer truck what could I ask for it??

I would probably put it somewhere around $2700.

Re: what\'s it worth

It's a long story, and a lot of parts, but a friend of mine and I did it ourselves. Magical things can happen with a good mig and a lot of creativity. We just opened up the back of one cab, and cut off the back 1/3 of another. 1+1/3=X-cab. Not finished yet. Kind of got put on the back burner. It's quite simple. Just need a few extra trucks laying around. We cut some skins from old doors to fill in the bottoms of the x-cab (where door jam is on the 1/3 cab). Some more pieces to fill in the floor, and whala!!

Re: what\'s it worth

I remember an article in fourwheeler a while back. I think the truck was on the cover. It was a later 80's model. looked cool though. If you ever get any pic's you need to throw them up here on the board.

Re: what\'s it worth

I will. The only other ones that I've seen have used a crew-cab and welded the doors. That's the easy way out. I wanted to be different. Just needed enough room for some groceries and the dog (and sometimes my old lady).
