Re: OT - Jobs

*32 miles one way.
*I absolutley hate my job.
*Work at a big a$$ warehouse driving forklifts, trucks and help out with whatever I can. You wouldn´t believe some of the stories about this job. Pays pretty good though.
*Nope. I will quit as soon as the moneyflow settles a bit. (i.e probably NEVER)

Re: OT - Jobs

20 miles to work. 20 more home.
Job is OK, pays great.
Department Manager, Information Systems.
Amount of Pay determines amount of $$ available for tire purchase, so maybe.

Re: OT - Jobs

Right now I am on disability for an injury to my arm I had last fall when I was working as a cabinet maker. Now this fall I am going to go back to school for Civil Engineering which is a great field for me to get it and the best part is that Workers Compensation is paying for everything for the 3 year program and they are still giving me my $1200 pay check every other week

In many ways I have what ever college guy/girl dreams so. Go to college for free and at the same time you get paid $ every other week to go. I also get paid gas milage because its a 60 mile round trip.

I guess in many ways most of you will thing...Damn, you are lucky man!!! But really, I paid the price for it a million times over when I lost the feeling in most of my right hand so in reality its not even close to worth it. At least in this profession I won't be in danger every minute of turning saw blades and other machines.
