I need some rim help

Well I am trying to figure out all the stuff I need to send my truck skyward and need some help. I have a 83 1/2 ton that I am going to put a FF14 bolt and a D44 underneath. I am wanting to put a 6" suspention lift(superlift) with cutout flares and what ever trimming and run 38" swamper tsl's. I called national tire for some pricing of my lift and tires. I dont want a 16.5" rim. I was thinking a 16" because I have heard that caliper might need clearancing on a 15" rim. So is a 16" rim a decent idea and if so am I going to have to have eaton custom make it because I have a 8 lug? What kinda backspacing do I need? I want to run a rockcrawler style steel wheel. I know this isnt that difficult but I am totally cluless. Thanks guys

Re: I need some rim help

Eaton is the only ones I know of that make a nice high quality 8-lug rim in 16 and 15" sizes. If you want you can actually go with the 15" rim. It will fit but you are going to have to grind a tiny amount off the calipers on the front but its not to bad at all. I would go with the 15" rims anyway because of the larger arange of tires out there in a MT style.

Good luck...Ryan

Re: I need some rim help

Maybe I will stick with the 15". Any ideas on backspacing? Any reason I couldnt get a 38"x15"x15" under my truck? Or should I go with a 12.5" wide? And what width rim should I run? Thanks again
