yeah you are going to need the ones with the centre bolt valve covers if that makes any difference at all for the rockers. I havn't heard anything about that other than when talking about valve covers them selves.

Good luck....Ryan

Re: please help me on my desicsion

The 92 305 will have self aligning rocker arms, so the older rocker arm style might not be such a good idea. I think it would be best to stick with the original rocker arms. Longer rocker arm ratios will help performance some, but unless you already know how to adjust the rocker arms on a small block chevy, it might be more of a challenge than you think. Having to get the distributor re-aligned and the engine running again might be enough of a challenge for one weekend.

It's not always easy to know the mechanical abilities of someone posting a question. I just kinda figured it would be safe to figure the mechanical ability was at the beginner level. The intake will improve performance more than the rockers.

Re: please help me on my desicsion

really that will be great i am really hoping that it will help while working with the cam, it is getting the air out, but i don't think it is getting it in to great. i have headers with a cleaned out cat and 40 series flowmasters, just the intake alone would help but i think it will help out a lot by just helping the cam breathe better. the duration (270-276) is a little big for my stock set up so i hope it will help greatly, thanks for the help
