Well...I paid a visit to the offroad park known as the Badlands this weekend. It was friggin unbelieveable! I can say with authority that the wheelbase limit is a good thing...big trucks really don't have many places there to mess around in. The trails are just too tight. Here's a few pics:

Um, it's stuck.

Believe it or not, that Isuzu yanked the 'Pig out with NO problems!

More pics in directory above.

I honestly think I was the only fullsize truck out there. Everything else was purpose built Jeeps or Suzukis...and the rest of the park was overrun by quads! I managed to get away with just damaged nerf bars and about 5 yards of mud on my truck. Definitely worth it though!

Re: Badlands!

Woohoo!! An isuzu that is being used as a truck should be. not enough of these being used on the trails. One of the 4X mags said the reason that vehicles get aftermarket attention is because they are good sellers. This is not true since the Isuzu Rodeo was the best selling imoport SUV since its introduction for almost 10 years and it has hardly any aftermarket following.

pics of the V30 which is still for sale or possible trade.

Re: Badlands!

I was amazed at what the Isuzu went through. There were about 5 of them there, all built to varying degrees. He had lockers, gears and some other stuff, and was just about unstoppable.

Yep, I was in 4 low. All-Terrains clog up WAY too easily!
