Jacked up \'00 Z-71- Gears?

I have a 2000 Silverado Z-71 with an RCD 6" Suspension Lift, 3" Body Lift, 35x12.50 ProComp's on 16x10 KMC Chrome Wheels (I like mud and chrome cleans easy). Anyway, I still have the stock 3.73 gears installed. I haven't been off-road since I installed the suspension Lift (did it in stages) and larger tires (not large enough) because I am not planning on rebuilding the Tranny again.
1. What Gear sizes are recommended and what manufacturer?
2. Are 35 spline axles and differentials available for the GM 10-bolt? If so, Who?
Before you warn me, I already junked the G80 Locker.

My next/current project is my buddies '01 Tahoe Z-71 with the same lifts. We are installing the California Super Trucks Suspension lift right now. (3" body lift is on) The rear lift is a tomorrow project. So your recommendations for my Truck will also go into this Tahoe.

Re: Jacked up \'00 Z-71- Gears?

As far as axle diameters and splines, for a 10 bolt what you have is about as good as it practicly (and cost effictivly) gets.
For gear manufacturers I say US gear (outstanding warranty) or anything Randy's ring & Pinion can throw at you. As far as gear sizes go, since you are coming up from 3.73s and 30" tires up to 35" tires I'd recommend 4.56s if you have an overdrive tranny. This website's gear calculator recomends 4.28 gears, but this is just a mathmatical equation you have to find the closest match to what is available for your rig. If you will be seeing nothing but (or mostly) street or you don't have overdrive maybe 4.10 is a better number for you.

hope I helped a little.
