Additives

anyone use additives in their rig? be it oil, tranny, fuel system or radiator such as redline, berryman, royal purple, restore, prolong or whatever.
i was thinking about adding the new redline water wetter into my radiator. suppose to help lower water temp and i could the help during the summer.

Re: Additives

a few folks here, including myself, use redline water wetter. the general concensus is that it works best when it is mixed straight with water, instead of with water and antifreeze.

i'm probably going to buy a can of berryman's B12 for the fuel system, just to get that cleaned out. i've used chevron techron fuel system stuff a couple times as well. gotta keep those injectors happy!

Re: Additives

I use Techron every-so-often. I use STP's Grey bottle for the fuel system, and black bottle for the injectors. I'm gonna switch to Amsoil's Performance Improver for the Injectors (They have a prefered customer program that sells at wholesale...not bad!) and use the Berrymans & STP in rotation for the fuel system every ~3000 miles.

As far as oils though, I am gonna switch to Amsoil sytheics everywhere. Their motor oil is superior, their gear lube is amazing and doesn't require LS additives (if you need it, i don't). Their greases are great too.
