I keep cracking my 208 housing(6 inch lift and 35's)I would like to get rid of my drop spacers and put in a cross member with a carrier bearing, use a fixed short shaft through the carrier bearing and mate it to a cv joint on the other side. I think this will put my pressure on the bearing/crossmember.Does anyone have any ideas of what I might run into, besides rotating the axle or installing a 205. Thanks in advance.

It's no fun if something does'nt break !
