Anybody out there put an add-a-leak on their 89-99 K1500 truck? If so, where did you get it and for how much and do you like it? I just put 285 BFG ATs on and want to get a little bit of lift to clear them better.

Re: Add-A-Leaf???

Goto junkyards you can get them for free or at least like a dollar tops. Dont call them add-a-leafs though call them anvils or scrap. Look for any one ton leaf packs laying on the ground. Get a matched set though.

Re: Add-A-Leaf???

I don't have any yet but i plan to buy some from summit racing for $30 or something like that, made by procomp. My friend has them on his tahoe and it rides fine.

I have a set of's 1" zero rate add a leaves. Cost $30 plus shipping. Gives you 1" of lift, but won't cause any of the harsh ride/loss of flex or spring sagging that regular add a leaves are known to do.

You can see them being installed at That installation is on a K5 solid axle Blazer, but they work on our IFS trucks also. I love mine.

1992 Blazer Sport, 350, 4L60, Rancho 2" lift, 285/75R16 AT's, K&N, Flowmaster, MSD stuff
