New Parts

I came into some good deals this week on some parts for my truck. Its gonna cost me, but I think its worth it.

For 400$
-new box in very good shape
-spare driveshaft
-spare master cylinder
-rear slider installed
-chrome bumber in perfect shape
and what ever else I can strip off the truck before its scraped

And since I had the old box off my truck I figured now would be the time to replace my broken springs, so I took the rear packs out and found that one of the primaries is broken, as well as two leafs on one and one on the other. By luck and a number of phone calls I tracked down a guy who rebuilds/re-arcs etc. springs in his backyard.

So for 220$ he is going to replace all leafs that need to be replaced, tweak the springs for about 2" of lift, and supply all the hardware (u-bolts, shackle bolts, etc) needed to remount them, and all withing 24 hours.

Anyone up here in BC need any spring work done, this guy knows his stuff and gives good prices.

I can't wait to get that truck back upo in the air.

Ugly 78 GMC 3/4T Camp. Spec. 350/465/205; needs major work.
