Fair Price for wheels

Okay fellas, I got new rims for the Balzer, and dont want the 4 old ones just collecting dust in the garage, any idea how much I could get for 4 great condition 2000 4x4 rims?

Re: Fair Price for wheels

You might actually decide to sell the blazer one day...if so wouldn't it be nice to throw the old rims back on and sell the newer ones. I never get rid of stock rims when I upgrade for later use on other vehicles or to sell them for more than I would get for stock rims. Just a thought...

Re: Fair Price for wheels

I'd try to get anywhere from $600-800 for them .Dont get pissed if that sounds too low. I dont know how bad you want to sell them. Ive seen alot of stock rims in my local papers for that price range lately.

Re: Fair Price for wheels

Try half that price for used rims!!!! I see alot of brand new take offs go for $400-500 for 4 rims.

I paid $400 for these brand new Chevy rims and they were still in the box wrapped in plastic and came with the center caps and 24 special lug nuts.

I would thing your rims would probably sell for $250-350 at the most.

Good luck...Ryan

Re: Fair Price for wheels

I would have to agree with RyanB on that. Up here the going rate is about $400 - $500. For $800 a person could go out and get some very nice aftermarket rims. Personally I would hang on to them unless you don't have any room for them or you don't want to keep your new rims you bought if you sell this. Just my $.02 worth. Good luck!

Re: Fair Price for wheels

I think BigBlue gave 1/2 that!! I think he said $260 for a set. Granted that was a pretty good deal, but I think that there are plenty of them to go around.

Maybe you should go ahead and ask $600 and see if you get any offers. If someone really wants to pay that much then let them and you'll have that much more to spend on the Blazer. I guess it all depends on how quick you want to unload them.

Just my 2&cent

Actually the wole post was just to see if I could get a &cent sign up here

Re: Fair Price for wheels

Yeah I was thinking round about 300, you think that would go up any if I had tires on them, The reason I am selling them is that the offset is so weird on my vehicle that the rims I am getting wont fit anything other than a blazer, and seeing that I probably wont be getting another one I figure why sit on the factory rims.

Re: Fair Price for wheels

I said" try " to get 6-800 I was assuming you had decent tires on them. I got $300 for mine without the tires.
