I met John Lingenfelter....

Anybody ever heard of a Lingenfelter Corvette.....yeah well I met the guy today at work. I was stringing a tennis racket ( I work at a sports store) and I noticed the name on the racket... "Lingenfelter" I was like hey cool thats like the name of the guy that beefs up corvettes and camaros. Well he came in today. And just to be funny I was like "hey any relation to the guy that beefs up corvette engines?" And yeah, it was him. Mr. John Lingenfelter, dude lives right here in Kingwood apparently.....anyway, figured i'd share, he has built some pretty [email protected]$$ machines...

Re: I met John Lingenfelter....

Yeah, my dad knew him back in his old drag racing days. Only downside to his vettes are that you have to pay him more than 40K just for the upgrades. He gives about 700HP total or so using turbos and such. But 40 grand plus the cost of the car! Maybe when I win the lotto.

Re: I met John Lingenfelter....

His Company was the first one to take the LS1 and stroke it out as far as possible and make a killer engine. His shtuff is pretty expensive, but the crafsmanship and quality of work are hard to beat.

88 crewcab w/38's. For sale.

Ever since G Gordon Liddy raved about his Lingenfelter ZR1 Vette for so long, I've wanted one too. To bad the ZR1 is gone.
