Throttle Body for 97 Yukon

I need some help in deciding what to get. The choice is between the Poweraid throttle body spacer, and the Helix power tower. They are the same price. What is the better of the two?

Re: Throttle Body for 97 Yukon

Just spend a few more bucks and get a high performance throttle body and skip the spacer. Holley makes one that is in the summit catalogs, and ads in the 4Wheeler mags and you could try turbocity.com. I haven't noticed any difference since I installed mine a few months ago.

88 crewcab w/38's. For sale.

Re: Throttle Body for 97 Yukon

granatelli makes a good one. only problem with those improved throttle bodies is that it says "improves injector and ignition timing increasing power from 2000rpm on up". so as long as you dont rock crawl, it will probably help you. in mud and dunes you run higher rpms so it would help you there. BTW - its $329 and shorts - summit only lists BBK as making one for TPI motors - granatelli is the only one for the 96-up vortecs
