Re: iNSTALLED REAR BUMPER BRACKETS LOOK GREAT

whitetail - can you tell me more?? i know you got em from 4WPW but who makes em, how much were they? im sure i can find another dealer if i know who makes em. also - any way you can get a pic? did they look like they are as strong as the factory brackets?? as i said before, i was planning on making my own, but considering teh amount of time i have for things like this (exactly NONE ) i may be better off to just buy the brackets and just worry about re-fabbing my trailer hitch to look right. thanks man...

Re: iNSTALLED REAR BUMPER BRACKETS LOOK GREAT

Hey man whats up? I thought you dropped off the edge of the earth(Ha Ha).Anyway Performance Accessories makes them and Summit has them But believe it or not 4Wheel was about $10 cheaper.I dont think they're as strong a factory but not bad they warn you not to try and tow anything with them.As usual I installed them myself(lazy f'ing neighbor never helps me).I still need to straighten bumper a little but came together OK.The only place i got stuck was th outside brackets the instructions weren't very clear. They cost $40 delivered. If you get 'em and need help dont hesitate to get in touch with me Im constantly checking my e-mail because Im trying to sell the tires and exhaust.Good luck man keep me [email protected].

Re: iNSTALLED REAR BUMPER BRACKETS LOOK GREAT

yea, on the weekends i pretty much do drop off the earth! haha. i usually go back home to my parents' since all my friends in jax are home for the summer. and this past week i had a killer - 3 big exams so ive been studying the whole damn time. it sucks. anyways - sounds pretty cool. since summit matches prices i may get em from there. and today, the muffler on dads tahoe rusted out so hes ordering a flowmaster this week from summit anyway. and if i get rear-ended, they will hit my trailer hitch first anyways so i guess i should worry about that. ill let ya know if i get em and i will post pics. thanks again
