Flowmaster sound in Blazer/Jimmy/Yukon/Tahoe cab?

Hey guys
I am about to get a Flowmaster for my Blazer. Just finally fed up with this little weener sound the Gibson makes. It actually sounds better inside than outside. I want to get a Flowmaster, so I can make heads turn. I've already got 3" pipe and a 3"in/out high flow cat. I am just wondering how much in cab noise a 40 series makes. I really like the sound of the 40 series, but I want to be able to hear my passengers and my music withouth having to shout or crank it up WAY loud. If it is to loud I will just go with a 50 series, but I would prefer a 40 series. Oh yeah, and since Flowmasters flow better than Gibsons, I know I'll be picking up a little power anyways. So what are your personal experiences?

Re: Flowmaster sound in Blazer/Jimmy/Yukon/Tahoe cab?

<font color=blue>I have 2 flowmaster two chambers on my truck. There is quite a bit of interior noise, mainly because I have no carpet (all I have is two seats and a steering wheel) so the metal floor amplifies the resonance slightly, (with the top on, off its quiet) but I like it. If I had a radio, I would probably have to crank it up a little more, but it does sound nice. One 50 series should offer better sound without all the interior noise.

I had two 40 series Flowmasters on a truck, and it was quiet inside the cab. I didn't have carpet either. Flowmasters definitely have the "musclecar" sound, and I would highly recommend the 40 series. If you are really worried about the interior resonance get the 40 series Delta-Flow.
