ABS

When I do my solid axle swap in my 1995 truck, what will happen with my ABS system? Does someone make a set of front rotors for a dana 60 with the little gear looking thing that the pick-up reads the signal from? And what about the back for a Corp. 14 that I am swapping in? Does back even have ABS in 1995? Would I be better off just scrapping the ABS?

Re: ABS

I don't know if the front of your '95 has ABS. I am sure the rear does, however.

Re: ABS

I am pretty sure my front has ABS. When I installed my Fabtech lift, on the back of the rotors was a toothed gear and a sensor that installed above it. Is this ABS or VSS? Pretty sure it's ABS though.

Re: ABS

I believe it does have ABS on both the front and the back.
As far as the Dana 60 goes, try giving the guys at Dynatrac a call. I too am planning the big swap for next year so I have started looking for the parts. I just found a company called Strictly Performance. They have a Late model chevy that they did a Solid axle swap in. They will sell the brackets, springs etc. or do the install w/ axle for you. (for about $7000.00). I think I will buy the brackets and springs from them, find my own axle and install it myself. Anyway there Website doesn't work so if you want I will try to find there business card and phone number.
