Re: ?

ARD is exactly right! Mickey's are a big TURD! the good news is he will not have to suffer with them for long, because their tread won't last very long! but even worse before the tread wears out, they will split down the middle!
You would be about 100 times better off with the SSR if you are stuck on the idea of that wide of a tire. If a 12.5" is wide enough get BFG MTs they will outlast the SSR and perform better on the road, and very close offroad. Something for you to think about since you have IFS, The wider the tire, the wider the rim, the wider the rim, the faster it will wear out your frontend$$$$
You will need at least 6" of lift for 35"s, "Superlift" is excellent and you can actually get close to 7" out of it!
if you were to go to a 36" you will probably have to add a 2" body lift!

Re: ?

I'm running the 33"-14.5"-15" Super Swamper SSRs. They're great tires as far as performance is concerned on and off road. They do however, wear very quickly. I actually stood my wheel, a 15x10 Mickey Thompson with a 33"-14.5"-15" SSR mounted on it, right next to a 35"-12.5"-15" BFG All Terrain mounted on a 15x10 rim and they're almost the same height. There's about 1/4" to 1/2" difference in height yet the Swamper is wider. I'm currently running a 6" Pro Comp suspension lift and no body lift. They rub. You can read all about it and see pictures at my site: http://www.full-size.com/94gmc

Re: ?

I agree, they suck. I thought mine were going to kill me. Wet pavement was like ice.
