Hydraulic Steering

I am probably going a little extreme but I was thinking of Hydraulic steering on my truck. I was thinking of a double ended cylinder with each side moving a tire. I was looking at some marine kits which come with a steering valve, pump, oil cooler, and cylinder. How stable would this be on highway? Anyone on here done this and if so what do you recomend. I am just thinking about this right now. Probably just go with a crossover set up but I am still curious. Are there and kits available for trucks?

Re: Hydraulic Steering

i dont think it is leagle to run on the road. they also cost alot to build and dont feel they are worth the money. monster trucks use them becase the wheels are so big and hared to tune. I have in the past put rack and pion steering on are race trucks. they work real good and free up some hp becase you dont need a power steering pump. good luck.

If it has tits or tires it will give you trouble.
