Can I use the same rims?

Im looking into getting a 14-Bolt S.F, will it be a direct swap? And will I be able to use the rims that I used for my 10-Bolt? Someone in my city is selling a 14-Bolt S.F. for $450 I think this is an excellent deal. Thanks!

Re: Can I use the same rims?

kinda/sorta depends on what it came out of? (year/model)

If it is a 6 bolt, your rims will be the same, but it could be an 8 bolt.
Also make sure it has the same gear ratio as yours or you will not have 4 wheel drive for long, or you will have to regear it and that will cost some big $$$$ easily doubling the cost.
Compare/measure the distance between it's spring perch's and yours, if they are different you will obviously have to relocate them ($$$$again)
also you may need a different u-joint, or worse case you may have to modify your shaft
All this being said, they are some out there that are a 100% bolt in direct swap, so if this one isn't I would pass on it and keep looking for one that is.

Re: Can I use the same rims?

I just swapped out my 10 bolt with a 14 bolt S.F. I specifically got the 6 lug pattern so that it would work with my rims. The U-joint was different and instead of using an adaptor U-Joint I had a new drive shaft made.
