Fixing heater fan in 1988 fullsize

Well, I bit the Bullet and bought a 1998 suburban, the heater fan does not work, nor does the rear ac. Any thoughts on where to stat my diagnosis/ repair whould be helpfull. How much can I expect to be set back? Thanks.

well sounds like something simple to me. obviously check all teh fuses, then relays. theres a relay for the fan that i had go bad. first of all, is your burb an 88 or 98. your subject said one, post said the other. but get a chiltons manual and trace the electrical connections, check each relay, switch, etc. i think you will find it to be something rather small and inexpensive. i THINK [img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/blush.gif[/img]
