\'54 3/4 ton body swap

I have a '79 4wd 3/4 ton Chevy and the body off a '54 3/4 ton. I want to drop the body on the newer truck and am curious as to the problems one might encounter. Engine space would be a known issue, but it's basically the same truck, right? Any info would be appriciated.

Re: \'54 3/4 ton body swap

I have no info but let me know how hard it is because I am thinking about getting an older cab to put on my 79 blazer frame.

Ask Drivelineman about it. He has a mid 60's Chevy pickup on a 70's Blazer frame. Hope this helps.
